OBJECTIVES OF PRACTICUM

• To gain an opportunity to be familiar with the professional field while
utilizing the academic knowledge gained from three years learning at
college.
• To develop research skills, communication skills, etc.
• To understand the range of field up to which an architectural firm
should deal with project.

• To understand and tackle various obstacles when a design is really
being implied.
• To know the general working system of the relative firm.

• To better understand the self potential and evaluate self in today's
context.

REASON FOR SELECTING THE FIRM

Before joining the firm, we had the choice for selecting private,

governmental, NGO, as a place where we could gain the experience of
working like a professional architect. We must participate in work to
enhance our practical knowledge. So that we can adjust our self with

different working environment in architectural field. We have studied
different theories based on the social setting, construction technology,
living standards, based on built environment, history climate, etc.

By analyzing all the aspects from which I can be benefited by the most, I
choose a private company OUTRE DESIGN ran by Ar. Sanjay lal shrestha.
I was inspired by his design philosophies and wanted him to be my tutor

and also got lucky when he also selected me. The firm is very good at
making the client happy by providing and designing what they want.
