The Hong Kong Marathon, usually held in January or February, is one of the most popular annual sports events in Hong Kong and a World Athletics Road Race Gold Label event. More than 70,000 runners took part in 2019.

From a humble beginning in 1976, the Hong Kong Sevens has grown from strength to strength to become a prestigious sports event in Hong Kong for rugby fans from around the world.
