Changing Lives

“I’m grateful for the other parents in my life. Without them, I don’t
know if we would have had the courage and strength to advocate for
the life my kids have today. No one else understands the road we travel
like another parent.”

Families Helping Families in Partnership, a United Way-funded program

Changing Neighbourhoods

“Over the years, I have seen great need for services for all
residents. Since joining the residents’ committee we have been able
to get the residents together and share ideas in improving safety and
cleanups. We have partnered up with a local school for a community
clean-up day. It was wonderful to see the youth from the community
helping to clean up the garbage in local parks/green spaces. This
committee is vital for Meadowbrook’s success.”

- Alison, Meadowbrook resident, Windsor
Meadowbrooke Community in Action, a United Way-funded program

Changing Communities

“My roommate is on dialysis and we have to pay cab fare to go back
and forth so we do not have money for food. Windsor Homes
Coalition lets me get food anytime I need it.

- Murray, Service user & volunteer
The Food Security Network, a United Way-funded program
