THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO PLANT IN

           A RAISED BED

           1. Row Planting

As the name suggests, plants are grown in rows.

Each variety is grown in its own row.

This is a very straightforward, uncomplicated method
ideally suited to the beginner gardener. GARDEN TOOLS

                                                                                     YOU WILL NEED

                                                                                      Garden trowel
                                                                                      Hand cultivator

                                                                                      Garden gloves
                                                                                      Pruners / seca-

                                                                                        teurs

                                                                                      Watering wand

                                                                                      Plant tags
                                                                                      Rake

           2. Square-Foot Gardening

This option enables the raised bed gardener to

maximize the yield even more. You divide your raised
           bed space into a grid of 1- x 1-foot squares. An 8’ x 4’
raised bed will give you 32 squares available for

planting; A 4 ft square raised bed will yield 16
           squares.
