A series of Workshops on Astronomical Telescope Making were organised for Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas
Astronomical telescope making workshop at Latur
A four-day astronomical telescope making workshop was organised from 15 to 18 April 2019. Every day a batch of 50 students of class 6 to 11 assembled 40-mm refractor telescopes. This hands-on was supplemented through lectures by experts. During the programme, 200 telescopes were assembled.
