Mega Science and Technology Expo
A Mega Science and Technology Expo was organiszed at Science City, Kolkata that brought in government bodies, voluntary organisations, manufacturing companies, researchers and policymakers under the same roof. Exhibitors displayed their wares, which showcased the best of innovations that India has to offer.
Outreach Activities
As part of the Outreach Programme and Satellite Event leading to IISF 2019, all institutes and R&D Labs under DST, DBT, CSIR, MoES, AYUSH and various other institutes opened their doors to students, public and local media to provide
an opportunity to showcase their achievements and research to the general public during 1 to 30 October 2019. This initiative helped reach the masses to underline the importance of disseminating scientific developments to the public at large.
