Agenda # 7: Administrative Matters
7.1 Finance Committee Minutes: Minutes of 37th Finance Committee meeting held on 21-12-2020 are placed at Annexure-III
Finance committee recommended a budget of Rs. 2800 lakh for the year 2021-22 and no cost extension of India Science Wire and India Science
and technology Innovation Portal under the core funding for the year 2021-22. The Governing Body may consider and accord its approval for Rs 2800 Lakhs as the budget estimates for the year 2021-22 and extension of afore-referred activities.
7.2. Approval of Annual Accounts: The Annual Accounts of Vigyan Prasar for the year 2020-21 (as per the minutes of 37th Finance Committee Meeting at Annexure –III) duly audited by M/S Manish Khanna, Chartered Accountant as approved and endorsed by Finance Committee may please be considered.
7.3 Appointment of Statutory Auditor: M/s Manish Khanna, Chartered Accountant has been conducting the audit of the Vigyan Prasar since Financial year 2015-16. He has so far conducted audit for five financial years.
Governing body may like to accord its approval for engagement of new C&AG empanelled Statutory auditor after adhering codal formalities.
