7.7 Reconstitution of Governing Body/Governing Council.
As per the Rule 23 of the Rules and regulations, the tenure of the GB is three years. The present GB was constituted vide DST letter NO. DO. No.AI/17/4/VP/2018 dated 29 May 2018 for the prescribed tenure.
As per existing provisions members have to relinquish their posts after expiry of 3years from the date of becoming the member of the GB. Thus, the approved tenure of the present GC/GB shall be up to 28 May 2021. Further the GB vide para 7.4. of its meeting held on 28 September 2016 resolved as under: “The existing GB/GC will continue to function till they are formally reconstituted”.
As such, the present GB will continue to function till the new GB is constituted.
7.8 Approval of the Annual Report
The Annual Report for the 2020-21 is placed for the perusal of Governing Body. The Annual Report was emailed to all the members of the Governing Body. Approval for the annual report may be considered. See Annexure-IV.
