Visually Challenged persons
Description and Functionality
The specially designed board (for entertainment of visually challenged persons) has 21 pockets with steel cups, including the four pockets at the corner. The striker crescent moon shaped which facilitate the seating of coin for visually impaired. The black coin has dimple on both sides, the red coin has dimple on one side and white coin is plain. The board includes a stopper (wooden block with locating pin) to stop the coin and make it to fall into the pocket. A guide stick is provided to guide the striker and coin to travel to the targeted pocket.
State-of-the-art
The board is different from the conventional board in having 21 pockets in the form of steel cups that are fitted under the pockets so that when a coin falls in to the pocket it would produce sound. Nearby the pockets small holes are provided called button holes for positioning the stopper.
