Before Pliant introduced Revolution® (R122™) machine film most stretch film suppliers were content to put
out standard products made with hexene, octene, and butene copolymer LLDPE resins. After R122™ began
to convert major stretch film users to the New Technology thinner and enhanced films, the other suppliers
got their own R & D moving in the same direction. Some of the competitive films approach R122™ in certain
areas of it's performance, but as of now none of them can match the "total package" delivered by
            Revolution® and Infinity PX films.

New Technology Stretch Films are the real deal. There is no reason why any stretch film user today
should not be making the change from using full gauge stretch films to new technology films. New
Technology stretch films are available for just about any machine film or hand wrap application. Gauge
reductions can vary according to the application, but it is not unrealistic to see 115 gauge films being
replaced by 80 gauge; 80 gauge films being replaced by 63 gauge; and 70 gauge films being replaced by 51
gauge new technology stretch film. In the hand wrap arena, we are seeing 70 - 80 guage film being replaced
everyday in almost all applications by 47 gauge new technology hand wrap. The cost savings available to your
company through the use of new technology stretch films can be substantial, and provide a significant
increase in your profitability as every dollar saved on packaging falls straight to your bottom line
            ( remember what that is?).

Still over 80% of all stetch film users today are stuck in the mud using old technology films and paying a lot
more to be doing it. If you want to learn more about your particular application, just click on the red button
below and get the ball rolling.
