The colobus monkey has no fear of heights.
It leaps around in the tops of forests, jumping from branch to branch,
almost gliding, thanks to its long fur and wide tail.
One interesting thing about the colobus is the fact that it has the
usual long thumb which most primates have. For the colobus, this
is an advantage as it helps the creature grasp branches more easily.
The name 'colobus' comes from the Greek word for "mutiliated".
Evolutionists like to point to the
'missing thumb' as an example
of evolution.
But is it?
* For evolution to work, NEW
features have to appear.
For example, lizards need to
grow wings, giraffes need to
grow an extra bone in their
neck, and so on.
But a LOSS of something is not evolution,
in this sense. It is going in the wrong direction.
Birds like the kiwi or takahe, which LOSE the
use of their wings, are evidence for LOSS, not
gain, so a colobus monkey with no thumb is
evidence of creation in a state of deterioration -
just as the Bible says.
