away the sin of the

Passover lamb:
"And they shall eat
the flesh in that
night, roast with
fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they
shall eat it."
"Crucifixion" is from the same Latin root word as
"excruciating." It was the most painful, tortured death
on a cross used by Romans.
