A true celebration for Victorian agriculture, the Royal Melbourne Show brings the country to the city and this year we are giving visitors even more opportunities to see animals and learn about agriculture. There’s sheep shearing and milking cows in the Livestock Pavilion, while sheep, cattle, alpacas, poultry and Clydesdales compete for blue-ribbon glory; farm animals roam in The First National Real Estate Farmyard, and the all-newBiostime Animal Nursery has more baby animals to pat, feed, and snap a photo with.
This year we’re presenting an amazing variety of entertainment and providing great family value
over the 11 days and nights of the Royal Melbourne Show. The exciting program includes the thrill of the Freestyle Motocross Stunt Riders, Cosentino the Grand Illusionist, Team
Isuzu D-Max, the Jurassic Creatures Pavilion or, of course, the spectacular fireworks are a great end to your day at the Show.
A new highlight is the twice-daily Royal Melbourne Show Parade, where you can see Show favourites like performers, community groups and much-loved TV and film characters, alongside talented marching bands.
I look forward to seeing many of you at Melbourne Showgrounds between 21 September and 1 October and in the meantime, I encourage you to visit royalshow.com.au to check out the program for this year’s all-new Royal Melbourne Show.
