5. Cosentino the Grand
Illusionist
Twice a day you can watch magician and escapologist Cosentino, the Grand Illusionist, who will push the boundaries of what’s possible with death-defying stunts from his all new stage show, Anything is Possible.
6. Angus Steakhouse
To celebrate the Angus as the 2019 Royal Melbourne Show beef cattle feature breed, there’s a new spot for
a restaurant-quality sit-down meal. The Angus Steakhouse will be serving up hearty steakhouse fare, including specialty steaks, golden fries and wine in a relaxed, cosy setting.
7. World’s Largest Showbag
Pavilion
Celebrating over 100 years at the Show, showbags will this year live in the Grand Pavilion, making it the World’s Largest Showbag Pavilion!
8. Get up close to the very
cute Alpacas
See these cuddly, long-necked animals during the Alpaca Youth Parader’s Competition where competitors lead an alpaca through a small obstacle course. If you want even more, visit the Biostime Animal Nursery and First National Real Estate Farmyard and spend some time up-close with these amazing animals.
9. Live sculptor in the newly renovated Spotlight Makers Pavilion
Colombian born, Alexander Esenarro Santafe is a renowned sculptor, specialising in expressing the complexity of human anatomy. Santafe is the 2019 Artist in Residence, where throughout 11 days of the Show, he
will be bringing his work to life in the Spotlight Makers Pavilion.
10. Scream your lungs out on
the Fury
Test your mettle on the ultimate thrill- seeker ride, the Fury. This terror of
a ride is making its first appearance
at the 2019 Royal Melbourne Show. Standing over 40 meters tall, rotating on three axis at speeds up to 125km/h, it definitely isn’t for the faint hearted!
Watch dinosaurs come alive in the Jurassic Creatures Pavilion and immerse yourself in the latest gaming and technology in the new Future Pavilion. Plus enjoy the much- loved Show experiences; pat and feed thousands of farm animals, take your taste buds on tour with award-winning food and drink, and slide, ride and spin your way around the exciting carnival precincts.
All new in 2019
This year the Royal Melbourne Show will be unlike any Show you’ve ever seen before with the introduction of an all new layout and program of activities to explore.
1. Jurassic Creatures
    Dinosaurs including everyone’s favourite, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, will come alive
at the Show. Jurassic Creatures is an interactive walkthrough with animatronic dinosaurs. Watch them move. Hear them roar!
2. PAW Patrol
Join Ryder, Chase and Marshall as they answer Mayor Goodway’s call for help to save the “Adventure Bay Talent Show”. See the cast come alive on stage in an all singing, all dancing performance ready to get you out of your seats and on the dance floor.
3. Elton John Experience
Don’t let the sun go down on you without seeing the Elton John Experience, with three performances a day on the Channel 7 Entertainment Precinct
4. Team Isuzu D-Max Precision Driving Demonstration
Australia’s longest running and most famous precision driving team, Team
Isuzu D-Max will set the Herald Sun Arena in motion with two live precision
