The Wages Guides are an important resource that clearly outlines the current minimum pay rates for full-time (& part-time) and casual employees in the Vehicle, Repair, Services and Retail Award 2020 and the Clerks Private Sector Award 2020. They also include monetary allowances and penalty rates for each classification for the VRSR Award and the Clerks Private Sector Award.

Modern Awards
What are modern awards?
Modern awards (Awards) are legal documents that outline the minimum pay rates and conditions of employment. There are more than 100 industry or occupation awards that cover most people who work in Australia. Awards apply to employers and employees reflecting the industry they work in and the type of job worked. Every award has information about who it covers.
The main Awards covering the Automotive Industry are the Vehicle, Repair, Services and Retail Award 2020, the Clerks Private Sector Award 2020. Other Awards that can have application in the Automotive Industry include the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020 (Schedule B) and the Miscellaneous Award 2020.
