              ➢ Coordinates and manages the communication between
               your hardware and software.
              ➢  Verifies the requirements for each program and the

                computer components.
               • A computer component:

                • Pre-loaded OS:

                ➢ When you buy a computer or device, it usually has a pre-loaded OS.
                ➢ Most laptops and computers have Microsoft Windows pre-loaded and this OS
                   is often used in schools and organizations.

                • MacOS:

                ➢ Macintosh computers use macOS.
                ➢ macOS is generally more expensive.
                ➢ Smartphones and tablets use different operating systems
                    such as Android and iOS.
