It is with much pain and sorrow that I present a tribute in your memory. I met
Elizabeth Dede teye in Tema while I was playing draft with my friends. We got
married traditionally in the year 1974 and was blessed with four children and
eight grandchildren.
Dede as I affectionately called you as a wife was very calm, disciplined,
caring,
caring, kind-hearted, friendly and a mother to all. During our forty- seven
years of marriage you always made sure there is enough food at home even
in times of hardships and the challenges life threw to us. You never gave up
your trading even in in sickness.
Yes a mighty tree has fallen, a big vacuum has been left in our hearts. You
Yes
played an important role in raising our children and the grandchildren. Even
though you were not well, you never gave up on God and church. I recall the
fond memories having to stop you from going to church but you insisted. We
will miss your smiles, laughs and jokes.
Dede, what went wrong? You recovered from stroke and was responding to
Dede,
treatment very well. You complained of throat infection on Friday and on that
fateful Tuesday you gave up at the hospital.
I love you but God loves you more and he knows the best for you. I don’t know
how life will be without you. Auntie Dede we love you. We will always cherish
the wonderful memories we shared with you and we will continue to honor
you all the days of our lives. I thank you for choosing me to be your
husband. You were indeed a life partner. I believe that you are resting
husband. You were indeed a life partner. I believe that you are resting
peacefully in the merciful hands of God.
