Complaint letter

                  Do you know of any company whose service and product are so good
                  that  they`ve  never  recived  a  complaint?    Of  course  this  kind  of
                  company  doesn`t  exist.  The  mistakes  made  in  the  handling  of  an
                  organization have been reflected in their service or the quality of
                  their  products.  A  complaint  is  an  alarm  system  that  tells  when
                  something is not right.

                  The cause of a complaint

                  A  complaint  iss  usually  caused  by  one  of  the  following  problems;
                  each which is a reason for writing a letter :

                   a)  Bad service (delay or carelessness).
                   b)  Bad product (defective or poor quality)
                   c)  Mistake

                  Characteristics

                  A  complaint  letter  is  not  successful  if  the  writer  loses  his
                  composure and writes it in a way that demonstrates reproach or anger,
                  which are both negative traits in writing letters, it would be more
                  effective if written in a diplomatic and friendly way.


                  Tips for writing a complaint letter

                      A.-  focus  on  the  most  important  facts.  Don`t  give  unnecessary
                      background information.
                      B.- make sure you include:

                         1) the reason for writing.
                         2) what went wrong.
                         3) what you would like to happen now.

                      C)complaint letters are usually written in a formal style.
