How do readers decide what ebooks to read?
In Bowker’s research (taken from their Book Consumer Demographics & Buying Behaviors Annual Review), 92% of consumers asked said they most trusted recommendations about ebooks made by people they knew, and that this was a major influence for them when they were selecting their next ebook to read.
This is great news, as it means you can use your friends, family and social networks to start to promote your ebook and generate interest and – hopefully – recommendations through them to a wider audience.
Discoverability and availability
