Apple iBooks, Amazon, Kobo, Google Play, Scribd (the largest ebook subscription service) as well as wholesalers like OverDrive (a US aggregator supplying Waterstones, high street retailers, UK and US libraries) and Gardners (supplies UK libraries and retailers including Hive.co.uk) and BorrowBox (Australia’s leading ebook library lender)
As your ebook will be available from all these retailers, you should think about how you can promote it to their users. Each offers a new customer set, and you can interact with them differently.
Your starting point
Most ebook marketing takes place via social media, email and the Internet. It is therefore important for you to be able to point readers to your ebook on different retailer websites.To do this you will need to locate the URL (unique web address) that will allow readers to go direct to your ebook on the retailers’ website.
How to find and use your ebook URL
Navigate to your book page on our website. Once there, you will see a list of those retailers currently selling your ebook (listed by retailer icon in the right-hand column).
We’ve already done the hard work for you by linking to many retailers.
Click on each retailer in turn and copy the web address from your web browser to get the actual link to your ebook on that retailer’s website.
