loss or damage occurring in the Republic of South Africa and Namibia;
consequen al or indirect loss or damage of any kind or descrip on whatsoever, other than loss of rent if speci cally insured;
loss or damage resul ng from total or par al cessa on of work, or the retarding or interrup on or cessa on of any process or opera on;
loss or damage occasioned by permanent or temporary dispossession resul ng from con sca on, commandeering or requisi on by any lawfully cons tuted authority;
loss or damage related to or caused by any occurrence referred to in General Excep on 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.4, 1.1.5 or 1.1.6 of this Policy or the act of any lawfully established authority in controlling, preven ng, suppressing or in any other way dealing with any such occurrence.
If the
burden of proving the contrary shall rest on the Insured.
Company alleges that, by reason of Provision 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, loss or damage is not covered by this Sec on, the

Motor
2. Excluded costs (costs the Company shall not be liable to pay):
2.1 any deposits payable;
2.2 fuel used during the rental period;
2.3 parking fees, speeding nes or nes, toll or e-toll costs;
2.4 excesses payable to the rental company.
3. The rental period:
3.1 starts on the day the Company admits liability in terms of the original claim and agrees to the rental;
3.2 the rental period shall cease at the me when:
3.2.1 the vehicle is recovered upon the (and repaired if necessary) and returned to the owner;
3.2.2 the vehicle is repaired a er being damaged and returned to the owner;
3.2.3 the Company has discharged liability in respect of the loss su ered;
3.2.4 a er 30 (thirty) consecu ve days;
whichever occurs rst.
PROVIDED FURTHER THAT:
the rental costs will be borne by the Insured and the rental invoice submi ed to the Company for reimbursement following the conclusion of the rental period as stated.
Riot and strike
Subject otherwise to the Terms, Condi ons, Exclusions, Excep ons and Warran es contained therein, this Sec on is extended to cover damage directly occasioned by or through or in consequence of:
1. civil commo on, labour disturbances, riot, strike or lockout;
2. the act of any lawfully established authority in controlling, preven ng, suppressing or in any other way dealing with any occurrence referred to in 1. above;
