              PERMANENT DISABILITY
A. Permanent Total Disability
the total, absolute and permanent disablement as a result of a Bodily Injury which prevents the Insured Person from following his or her usual occupation or any other occupation for which he or she is suited by education or training
the temporary disablement as a result of Bodily Injury which prevents the Insured Person from engaging in or giving attention to his or her usual occupation
expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred within 24 (twenty four) months of the date of the Motor Vehicle Accident for medical, surgical, dental, ophthalmic, hospital treatment and/or emergency travel costs
a legally qualified medical practitioner other than the Insured Person or a member of his/her immediate family
the applicable amount of compensation paid to an Insured Person, subject always to the terms and conditions of this Policy, at the amount stated in or determined by the Schedule
that period for which the Insured has paid the requisite premium and the Company has agreed to provide the insurance on the terms and conditions of this Policy
the insurance contract entered into between the Company and the Insured consisting of this Policy wording and the Schedule and any endorsements or amendments as may be made to it from time to time
the Schedule to this Policy wording which forms part of and is issued in accordance with the Policy wording
the Republic of South Africa, Angola, Botswana Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique Namibia, the Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe
permanent and total loss of or loss of sight in an eye total and irrecoverable loss of speech or hearing
