I chose Anna Hill for my Distinguished Educator because she
is the person who started my journey of reading. One is not born knowing how to read, so if you’re not tough you don't know how and that was my situation. When I tried to read, the letters looked bunched and jumbled together. Ms. Hill helped and worked with me for two years helping me to sound out and put together the words. It was very frustrating for me, but Ms. Hill was right there to support and boost my confidence. She created a firm base for me to kick off my reading, so thank you, Ms. Hill, for giving me the confidence I needed to start reading.
