UNTITLED
by Elsa Grebenc
Flocking high above the sea Soaring through the blue sky Almost as blue as the water Almost as clear as her thoughts As her dreams
The shore
Between her thoughts and her actions Between heaven and human
Still yet breathing
Softer than the first breath of morning Waking after a perfect sleep Crunching beneath our feet Beneath the pressure
Sand
Silky and delicate
Sifting through our hands
Strong and stable
Like the foundation to a skyscraper Endless
Like needles of evergreen trees Particles floating with the water Meeting the comfort of the oceans touch
A lifeline
At our feet
We visit it, we relish in it The ocean brings life and joy The ocean
The girl
Freedom
MIDNIGHT SUMMER’S DREAM
by Ashley Boyd
 A DROP OF OCEAN
by Ryann Thomas
She loved the sea
The allure of something unknown Feeling small in its tremendous depth Not knowing yet filled by understanding A drop of the ocean
A drop of her life
Waves
drifting in and out
Like her thoughts and words Reaching out to place shells Reaching out for a hand For something to hold
For something to be a part of Frothy, overturning, roaring Emotions rolling with thoughts
Seagulls
Ringing through piers Like her laughter, like her tears Honking, Squawking
