been submitted to the Planning Department of Castle Rock. The proposal is to do a two-phased improvement. Phase One includes a round-a-bout and a Road A into Miller’s Landing. Once this project is completed, residents can expect a substantial volume of tra c in and around this area. It is important to note that Miller’s Landing is also planning a phased development concept where buildings are constructed a few at a time as they secure tenants. The land has been graded and it appears that construction is imminent once funding and planning is complete. The developer has held several public meetings and have solicited feedback and ideas regarding suggested tenants and design for the project. However, recently Castle Rock’s Development Services has removed this project from their website. There are indications that the development timelines have been delayed, postponed, or abandoned. More to come in future articles regarding this high visibility commercial development project.
La Loma Mexican Restaurant:
We have a new, high-end Mexican restaurant in Castle
Rock! La Loma, A Mexican Kitchen, is located 6361
Promenade Parkway. It can be accessed by turning
into the same parking lot as Chick Fil-A looking west.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions the restaurant
is operating at 25 percent capacity only on the patio areas.
Currently, it is quite a challenge to secure spontaneous
reservations at this restaurant so I recommend you plan
ahead if you wish to try out this new eatery. Customers
can make reservation on-line at their website: www.
lalomamexican.com or call the restaurant at 303-433-8300. The Brinkerho family are the owners and they strive to provide great Mexican food and world class hospitality in all of their restaurants. They also own and operate two other La Loma Restaurants in Denver, plus they own and manage the Sierra American Restaurant in Lone Tree, which is directly across from Cabela’s Outdoor Store. The view of the front range from La Loma’s new patios is spectacular an will no doubt, be a very popular place for locals to dine. The menu is not your run-of-the-mill Mexican fare. Prices of food and drink are moderate to high, however customer reviews for service, food and beverages are very favorable! Once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, it will be a very busy local restaurant.
Canvas At Castle Rock:
