Are you new to birding in Castle Rock? Wondering where to begin or where to go? Join the natural resource specialist for this indoor program. Learn bird identi cation, choosing and using binoculars and eld guides, nding local birding spots, and so much more. There will be an outdoor eld trip on May 12 in Part 2 of this program.

Join the natural resource specialist for an early morning walk in search of migratory songbirds and birds of prey along East Plum Creek Trail in downtown Castle Rock. This two-hour walk is designed to advance the birding skills discussed in the indoor program, but attendance in Part 1 is not required for the second part. Please bring your own binoculars.
Pre-registration is recommended. These classes are not recommended for children under 8 years old.
