proval of the Cardinal Archbishop of Cologne. His
Excellency had accepted the plan submitted by the
Xaverian Brothers. Three Brothers had been selected
for Germany, and Father Van Beek had agreed to go
along in the role of temporary advisor. He requested
this priest-friend to get in touch with Count Von Spee
and also with a certain Baron Lei so that the four of
them could meet and discuss the details. The Xaverians
were prepared to take over the foundation at a moment's
notice. He told this priest: "As soon as rhe house will be
rented, please advise when we can come."
