When a clerk from the Bank notified him that he
would arrive shortly to make an inventory in prepara-
tion of the Notice of Public Sale of "IIet Walletje,"
Brother Ryken asked for and obtained a postponement,
so that the members of the community could participate
in the exercises of their annual retreat. On the twenty-
first of October, the feast of St. Ursula, especially be-
loved by the Brugeans, apparently unperturbed he
clothed six more young men in the Xaverian habit,
