On March 2,2003, Carrollton
entered a new phase in its

history. In a beautiful mass
celebrated by Father Robert

Vallee, the ground was blessed
where the new addition to the

Junior High will stand.

Mrs. Cristina Poo, chairman of

the board of trustees, spoke of
how it must be important for

all of us to keep Sacred Heart
education alive and growing

for our daughters,
granddaughters, and future

generations in Miami and

around the world. Soon, there
will be a beautiful new

building on the Duchesne
campus.

Following the mass, there was

a reception in El Jardin to

celebrate. It was a beautiful
day and an exciting one for

the Carrollton community.
