LOW-MELT LAMINATE

The Diamond series roll laminate is a premium grade PetPRO™ (polyester) ultra low-melt roll film formulated from
co-polymer resins for the wide format digital market. This transparent film which has UV inhibitors and a strong polyester
TM
content, has a melting temperature of 185 – 210°F (85 – 100°C). Diamond film’s low melting temperature allows for
adherence to inkjet media without the colour shifting that occurs with higher temperature melting point laminates. The
TM
Diamond series film is available in gloss and matte finishes on 3" core.

HELPFUL HINT:

If your laminated piece comes out cloudy, the laminator’s heat is not high enough, or it is not warmed
up enough to thoroughly melt the adhesive. Thicker mil films or papers need hotter temperatures. If
your laminator does not have an adjustable temperature control, slow down the machine. You might
also consider using a thinner laminating film.
