PET FILMS
PET (polyester) film is the most popular type of film for many reasons. It combines durability with scuff and scratch 1.7 mil PET MATTE (1" Core) 5.0 mil PET GLOSS (1" Core)
resistant properties and works in almost any application. It is ideal for both single-sided and two-sided laminating
applications. Roll Size 1-6 7-11 12+ Code Roll Size 1-6 7-11 12+ Code

Nylon film, also referred to as lay-flat laminating film, is designed for single-sided applications. It is porous so it can
absorb moisture with the paper stock. As well, it is resistant to heat so it won’t stretch or expand during the lamination 25" x 500' $96.25 $87.50 $80.50 LFHM2188 25" x 200' $62.52 $56.84 $52.29 LFHG2388

and scratch resistant properties and there are times when nylon is simply the best choice.
OPP FILMS
OPP (polypropylene) film is the most economical thin film. It provides the highest gloss level of all three options. It is also HELPFUL HINT:
the softest film and more prone to scuffing and scratching. It runs easily through the laminating process, bursts well and
is receptive to certain varnishes and coatings. All OPP (polypropylene) films are double corona treated for UV, foil, or When laminating digitally printed sheets, we recommend:
other top coating applications.
• Let the printed media dry (cure) for 12 to 24 hours before laminating.
