Early on he had to have a toe removed due to frost bite suffered from living in cold at the pup-
py mill. Eventually, he has had both his knees operated on, but he is doing great. The wonder-
ful 101 Kees community and other Kees lovers opened their hearts and pocketbooks to Sher-
man to cover most of his surgical expenses. The Kees community is one of the most loving and
generous of all.
