LONGSTANDING PARTNERSHIPS

Habitat for

Humanity

In communities all over the world, Habitat for
Humanity partners with people to help them build
or improve a place they can call home. Habitat
homeowners help build their own homes alongside
volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
In Charlotte, along with a $5,000 donation, team
members provided sweat equity in a Habitat Homes
being built for the Jimmy
& Rosalynn Carter Work
Project. They began building
the outbuilding from scratch,
painted all interior trim,
cleaned all the windows of
stickers and construction
dirt, built two mailboxes
and cemented their posts.
In Jacksonville, where HabiJax is considered one of the
most successful Habitat affiliates in the United States,
having provided homeownership and other housing
services to over 2,300 families, team members from
Haskell’s headquarters completed their 26th and 27th
Habitat houses and in 2024 will build Nos. 28 and 29.
