DISABILITY

Short-term Disability (STD)
STD Eligibility Waiting Period
You are eligible for short-term disability coverage provided by Heico on
the irst of the month following 60 days of continuous employment.
Lincoln Financial administers the STD plan, and the table below outlines
the breakdown of beneits based on your tenure with Heico. You must
be at work on the day coverage is scheduled to begin; otherwise, your
coverage will be delayed until you return to active work. Please note
your company may have a different policy. Please refer to your local HR
Manager for the applicable policy.

* You may qualify for STD beneits after you have been absent from work due to an illness or
injury for one week .
Long-term Disability (LTD)
Heico provides employer-paid long-term disability (LTD) to employees
working 30 hours or more a week.
Long-term disability provides protection for you and your family
against loss of income if you become disabled.
If you are unable to work due to a non-occupational illness or injury,
and you are approved by Lincoln Financial, you will be eligible to
receive beneits of 60% of your regular monthly earnings up to
$15,000 per month, after being disabled for 180 days.
