Busey Associates,
Our new plan year begins January 1 and we are very pleased to offer our medical, dental, and vision coverage at the same
rates. That’s right—for the irst time in more than 20 years, Busey associates will not see an insurance premium
increase!
As a reminder, we are making the inal transition to consumer-driven health plans (CDHP) this year. To take
advantage of the beneits of these plans, Busey is pleased to introduce several new and expanded services provided at
no additional cost to Busey associates.
■ Personalized Enrollment: To better assist associates in understanding and maximizing healthcare options, all full-
time associates, even those electing to decline coverage, will have an in-person, one-on-one, thirty-minute session with
a dedicated beneits counselor. The counselors are state-licensed, experienced in the insurance ield, and familiar with
Busey’s insurance plans and beneit services.
■ HealthCPA: This exciting new offering provides free assistance in choosing the most cost-eficient and high-quality
healthcare services available. Through the phone, website or mobile app, HealthCPA provides you with transparent
cost estimates for services on the front-end, reviews your Explanation of Beneits (EOBs) and related bills when you’ve
received care, and will negotiate payment plans with providers if needed. Busey has generously made the HealthCPA
team and healthcare pricing transparency tool available to all full-time associates (not just those on Busey’s
insurance plan), as well as Busey spouses, dependents, parents, and parents-in-law.
■ Health Savings Account (HSA): A signiicant and portable personal inancial beneit, these accounts allow you to
deposit and grow your healthcare savings in a tax-deferred account.
■ B Well: Over 75 percent of Busey associates demonstrated their commitment to health and well-being
by participating in B Well in 2015—earning HSA contribution incentives, which will be deposited in
January 2016. These significant wellness incentives will continue to offset future healthcare
costs for you and your family in 2016 and beyond, and will be deposited on a quarterly basis
going forward.
■ AFLAC Voluntary Hospital Plan: An expansion to our worksite beneits, this plan allows you to select personalized
beneits best suited to meet your needs, and compliment medical plan coverage by paying for everyday expenses in the
case of hospitalization.
We hope these new and valuable beneits demonstrate Busey’s commitment to associates as one of our Pillars. Whether you
are on Busey’s insurance plan or not, we encourage you to take advantage of these offerings. Remember, the insurance plan
year now matches the regular calendar year from January 1 through December 31. Details on the new programs above, as
