New in 2016
We are excited to announce in 2016, we will be offering an additional
UnitedHealthcare medical plan option for you to choose from.
In additional to a traditional PPO plan, employees will have the
opportunity to enroll in a Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP)
with a Health Savings Account (HSA) feature.
Plan summaries are detailed in the following pages.
Spousal Certification
If you enroll in the UHC Medical Plan and your spouse has access
to their employer-sponsored health plan they must elect coverage
through their employer’s plan. Spouses with alternative employer-
sponsored health coverage are not eligible to participate in either
UHC Medical Plan. You must recertify whether your spouse is
currently employed or not. If they are currently employed and have
access to their own employer-sponsored health plan, you will need to
remove them from the UHC Medical Plan.
