Employee Equipment Policy
VER allows employees to borrow equipment on occasion for personal
use. Equipment loans to employees are a privilege of working for VER.
VER employee rentals are not guaranteed—customers get priority on all
equipment rental availability.
In order to borrow equipment, the employee must receive no
compensation for equipment, labor, and/or services. If the employee is
receiving any compensation for equipment, labor and/or services then the
equipment must be RENTED. The rental must follow all the procedures
of a normal rental including deposit (or COI) and will include typical
rental fees. The employee must explain the rental need to their supervisor
and get approval prior to the rental.
