LONG TERM
DISABILITY
Long Term Disability is ofered through Cigna.
If you meet the deinition of disability, you will
be eligible to receive a portion of your monthly
salary.
Your Benefit
60% of your monthly pre-disability earnings, up
to a maximum of $10,000 per month.
Beneits are coordinated with any state,
Workers’ Compensation, or other beneits you
may receive.
When Benefits Begin
Beneits begin after 90 days of disability.
Benefit Period
If you become disabled prior to age 62, beneits
will continue to age 65 if you continue to qualify
as disabled. If you become disabled after age
62, the period of payment will vary based on
the age you were when the disability began.
Pre-Existing Conditions for LTD
If you had symptoms, or received treatment or
medication for any condition during the three
months prior to your efective date of coverage,
you will not be eligible for LTD payments if
you become disabled for that condition during
the irst 12 months after your LTD coverage is
efective.
