Open Enrollment

New in 2016

In 2016 we are now offering a UnitedHealthcare High Deductible

(HD) plan option along with continuing to offer the MVP and MEC
plan options.

The UHC ACA plan is a high deductible health plan (HDHP).

This means there are no copays; all services, with the exception
of preventive care, apply towards the deductible. The ACA plan is
considered a qualiied HDHP for opening a Health Savings Account
at the inancial institution of your choice.

Spouses will not be eligible for the UHC plan. To maintain costs for
employees, by not allowing spouses coverage, they are maintaining
their eligibility to enroll and apply for subsidies through the exchange
for their medical coverage. This HD plan meets the minimum value
requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Spouses are still eligible for the PAI MVP and Reliance Standard
MEC plans.

By not offering coverage to spouses on the UHC plan, spouses keep
their eligibility to enroll and apply for subsidies on the exchange.
