Health Savings Account (HSA)
When you enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), you will be given
seed money in your Health Savings Account (HSA) to help you offset your out of
pocket expenses. An account will be opened for you with Optum Bank.
An HSA is a great way to pay for your medical expenses now and save for the
future. An HSA is triple tax free. This means your contributions are tax free, your
distributions are tax free and any earnings on your account grow tax free.
