Accident Insurance



Accident insurance can help you offset some of the cost of an unexpected injury.

Accident insurance pays a cash beneit in the event you or a covered family member experience a speciic injury
resulting from a covered accident. It is NOT a replacement for medical insurance. It is intended to help you with
additional costs like medical member copays and deductibles but also costs like travel or lodging that can come
with a serious accident. The exact amount of payment depends on what coverage you elect and the event. A
snapshot of how the payouts vary for accident care, emergency care and some common injuries is shown below.
