Threadex Operating Instructions
®
Step 1 Select head to fit desired die O.D. or tap range, insert and secure die or tap.
Step 2 Select appropriate shank and install into lathe tailstock.
Step 3 Slide head onto shank and advance tailstock within proximity of work piece.
Step 4 Lock tailstock and advance holder with tailstock crank until head begins to self feed.
Step 5 Reverse lathe at desired point and reverse tailstock crank a few turns as head is backing off work piece.
