recording over 1 million air traffic movements over the year. This remarkable milestone underscores
the UAE’s essential role as a global aviation hub with a strategic location, advanced infrastructure

Crossing the historic threshold of 1 million air traffic movements in a single year reflects the efforts
of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the Sheikh Zayed Air Navigation Center in
delivering exceptional air navigation services that meet the aspirations of global airlines and
enhance the air travel experience.
