Call Park

(will be the preferred option throughout campuses similar to the old commander style when placing a call on hold then
dialling and extension and announcing there is a call on line SP-01)

You can use call park feature to place a call on hold, and then retrieve the call from another
phone in the system (for example, a phone in another office or conference room). You can
park an active call by pressing the Park soft key or call park key on the phone. If the call is
parked successfully, there is a voice prompt confirming that the call was parked. You can
retrieve the parked call by pressing the Retrieve soft key or the retrieve key. If the parked
call is not retrieved within a period of time defined by the system, the phone performing call
park will receive the call back.

               To park a call:

                       1. During a call, simply press one of the side buttons which will have labels on the
screen SP-01 to SP-06 the button will then highlighted in Red.

You can then dial an extension and announce there is a call on that line which will be
               highlighted in Red.

If the person does not pick up the line after a period of time the call will come back to the
person who placed the call on park.

Call Transfer (remember the easier and preferred method is the call Park)

You can transfer a call to another party during a call in one of two ways:

                   • Blind Transfer: Transfer a call directly to another party without consulting.
                   • Attended Transfer (Consultative Transfer): Transfer a call with prior consulting.
