difficult to get the timing right, so as soon
as I saw a grey shape swimming by me (I
cannot see much without goggles), my only
thought was “Let’s look at the camera now!”.
This is how we took my first picture with a
shark. We tried again in further locations,
and by respecting a number of rules for us
and the sharks, we were able to get the best
outcome.
Whenever the sharks were around I needed
to stay absolutely calm, respect strict safety
rules and rely on my team to spot any
issues. However during the wedding dress
photoshooting, I could not care less about
sharks because I had what my friends called
“princess problems”: my crown kept moving
and I constantly needed to rearrange my
dress in order to look graceful! I could

distinguish the sharks, but would be too busy
to actually panic, as strange as it sounds…

mind about sharks and foster respect
