Liverpool Philharmonic Melody Makers
A fun, energetic entry-level choir for children in primary school years 3 and 4 who love to
sing!
Every ensemble, choir and project is led by professional musicians and artists, enhanced by
musicians from Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and their Chief Conductor,
Domingo Hindoyan.
Youth Company musicians benefit from a host of additional musical opportunities and
experiences. Youth Company members have the opportunity to participate in inspiring
masterclasses with visiting UK and international artists. In the past, these have included
violinist Ray Chen, cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason and saxophonist Jess Gillam.
Through workshops with musicians’ health specialists, Youth Company leads the way in
offering performance health training for young musicians, equipping young musicians with
the skills they need to avoid injury, maintain physical and mental wellbeing and enjoy a long
and healthy musical life.
