                   horsepower. A race-built Powerglide transmits
                   the power to the wheels..
Brian fabricated the entire cage out of
Docol R8 rather than traditional chrome moly
due to its ability to be straightened out if it
becomes bent, which has been known
to happen during a race. The rear
suspension is a parallel four-link, much
like you’d see under a drag car. Up front is
a parallel compound angle setup with a
Panhard bar. Everything was built out of
a combo of chrome moly and Docol R8
                   in Brian’s shop.
We mentioned above that this is an actual
race truck, so it’s only fair to talk about
its performance. It runs in both fast track
and bog-style racing to the tune of 3.0 to 3.1
seconds over the 200-foot track. Future plans
call for a 712-inch monster motor that should
put the truck into the 2’s.
