and the transformation began.
Since this was supposed to be a
mud truck, Brian started truckifying
the body by bobbing the rear and
sourcing a Model A bed. The bed
was shortened about six inches
and the top received a mild two-
inch chop. Model T fenders were
selected for their chunkier, more
industrial look.
To be eligible to run in Renegade
class, the truck had to be built on
a stock chassis, so Brian chose to
start with one from an International
Scout. After that, stock went out
the window. A Dana 30 axle up
front and a Ford nine-inch out
back funnel the sick amounts of
