I went simple with the interior and didn’t add anything that
wasn’t needed. First to go in were scratch built bomber seats
(made from brass sheet), Mexican style blankets to the door
panels and license plates on the fl oor boards. The transmission
is exposed to give it that raw look.
It’s all topped off with a mixture of fl at brown over fl at black
paint and a few added rust spots here and there for character.
My goal with my models has always been realism. I want to
fool the viewer into thinking that what they are looking at is a
real 1:1 vehicle and not a 1:24 scale model. The love I have for
cars, has been there as long as I can remember as well as the
desire to build a car of my own. Models allow me to do that. I
can build whatever I want at a fraction of the price, and size.
