Event coverage is important to me and something I’ll be putting a lot
of attention towards. There are so many great events that have never been
of attention towards. There are so many great events that have never been
covered by RRM before and I will personally be attending several of those.
covered by RRM before and I will personally be attending several of those.
It’s a good thing I love road trips!
Speaking of events, we have some pretty big ones in the making. The
Home-Built Summit in Bristol Tennessee is really taking shape. Our friends at
Thunder Mountain Campgrounds have really put in the work on this event. I
cannot express enough how impressed we are with their efforts and we are
really looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds. Think about this! Where
else can you drive your pride and joy around one of the most celebrated
NASCAR tracks in the country? The Home-Built Summit will allow you to do
just that and Bristol Motor Speedway is the track. For all the info you need to
attend, fi nd the full-page ad inside this issue and we hope to see you there.
The next event is one I’m personally working on with St Louis best
car/motorcycle event promotion, Throttle America. I’ve known Steve and
Brandie (T.A. owners) for years and lemme tell ya something. They put all
they have into an event and it shows. The event is called Wrenchfest and
it promises to be the biggest baddest rat rod/hotrod/motorcycle event
in the region within the next few years. The event will take place behind
the legendary Shady Jacks Saloon with a full day of great music, food and
drinks. Highlights are a burnout contest for a $500 cash prize sponsored by
St Louis own Sparks Speed Shop. A fl aming throwing hot rod contest with
a $500 cash prize. And let’s not forget the Miss Wrenchfest Contest with
the winner getting a 4 page feature in Rat Rod Magazine. You won’t want to
miss this day so make plans of being there for the birth of Wrenchfest STL.
In other news, Craig and I are working on new swag so keep your eyes
open for a new line of shirts hats and more.
That’s about it from me folks! I got a Vegas trip to pack for and a few
rat rods lines up to shoot while I’m there. If you happen to see me at an
event, please don’t hesitate to come up and introduce yourself. I’m always
open to feedback.
